Pilot Training

The Defence Centre for Training Support based in RAF Halton, UK now has the exciting new CyberSeat motionbase simulator in helicopter configuration. The Cyberseat adds motion to their current "Matrox TripleHead2Go" configuration.

The CyberSeat offers a breakthrough by bringing affordable dynamics to the training of defence personnel with its high fidelity single-seat 3 axis low cost motionbase simulator. UK designed and built, it is simple and rugged.

The Cyberseat 3 axis base is a strong performer and will move a 150kg payload at 1 m/sec with 1 g acceleration.   Its fidelity motion reproduces the vibration of helicopter blades or an uneven gravel track but it also faithfully handles the smooth turns and turbulence of a glider.  In use with the Air Training Corps, Flying Schools and now the MOD, the combination of a low cost simulator with the latest PC simulation technology has created a new generation of training possibilities.

The configuration for RAF Halton comes as a generic helicopter, equipped with cyclic, collective, anti torque throttle and full twist throttle. The simulator is also available as a fixed wing aircraft or a vehicle and is ideal for remote pilot feed-back (real-time).

Sim Squared

Simulating the sea and waves in a believable and accurate way is the key to a professional Marine simulation that leads to successful Naval training. Sim Squared's simulated sea environment is the result of years of research, feedback and fine-tuning. The result is nothing short of spectacular.

Sim Squared engines simulate the atmosphere (including thermals and micro-meteorological conditions), the land, the sea and underwater environment so consistently that it is perfectly possible to fly, sail or perform submerged operations within the same environment - it all depends on the vehicle of choice.

Vehicles

Sim Squared vehicles simulate boats and ships of any size and shape, with or without submerged foils. They can also simulate a wide variety of powered and non powered fighters, missiles, helicopters and ground vehicles.
